[A Gift for Peach]

Wow

This was so cute, it made my day. Really. I'd like to say more, but i dont know what to say - it was just perfect.
Oh, I do have a question: How the hell did this grow to size of 1600kb? Why did you use Jpeg as background? What is that blinking pixel above Luigi's head? Did you compress music at all? Sorry. It's not a rant. I loved this. On internet, compression is a matter of art and professionality, that's all.

kinda wasnt worth watching.

i dont like cockjokes, that's all. and i would be okay with all that, had he not ripped all the graphics off the original. right-click, then zoom in. you will see pixels on the edges. and the only drawings he made, were... i dont know. i wont tell, but you all know what i'm going to say.
anyway, this is not personal, but a good advice is... if you cant make a flash youself (graphics, scripts, scenarios AND music) invite a friend who can, and do a collaboration. the sound was good, really, very clear and doesnt need subtitles, like in the reeeeeal Tankmen. but it's half of the work. i encourage you to make a colab, and a good guideline is, if you're new at this, dont start off with mature-rated movies. try the talent elsewhere first.

this flash is crunk, for shizzle!

it was a bit short, yes, but the continuity helps compensate this a little bit. i didnt even know when it was over =P and i was like "wow, yay" when i realized there is no "play again" button!
the characters have a volume, they're not just stick figures, so when they fall over each other, they really pile up.

Thwomps1 still the best

Thwomps have stopped being simple and funny. well, at least we get to see the Pimp Thwimp they mentioned in Thwomps2 (though they actually say they can beat him up... you'll see.)
you will find this one slightly funnier if you have played the real Yoshi's island (the one where you are a Yoshi with baby mario).
well i hate the fact that our superhero didnt make it out of this situation in the end. because they ALWAYS do...

it's not ALL that bad, but...

i watched Thwomps1 first, then this one. maybe i'm misjudging this one, but quality declined. they were more like military or something, not the spirit of big stupid stone blocks slamming themselves against the ground. and i'm proud to say that they NEVER killed me in the original game =P

even though this is just another sprite flash, graphics are well used and lovely. i like the style but it's slightly predictable. the sound was crystal clear, and there were even some subtitles. subtitles are cleverly used for a psychological trick - "this is the day we trained for"
oh and there's some points in Violence. poor thwomps...

[TANKMEN]

nice but...

same as with Ultimate Showdown. this movie is as legendary as that one, and as a consequence, it became series and series of its own pale shadows.
well i must say, sound is amazing, very clear, one of the rare movies that didnt need subtitles.
oh, there's a small easteregg in the end, not hard to find.

Yay, i loved!!

just... amazing. colorful graphics (three colors), adding to the communist stereotype a little more. at first i saw the beetle, on preloader, and i thought "omg omg omg another sprite flash", but now, this one was drawn freehandedly, and Mario looks very... communistic. what made him that way? long moustache? covered eyes? the adamant stance? oh and, you will find hammer (and sickle) on a communist flag. seeeeee, mario was a communist!
oh yeah, and i threw in a few points in Humor, cause others who saw this, seemed to half-smile at the face expression of that Koopa...

great, but has flaws...

this is as violent as sticks go. they didnt all die creatively (style), but they all died fluently (graphics). i didnt like the music, not that i hate it, but it simply... didnt fit. beside, i openly hate large filesizes and i am sure that the song ate up 8/10 of the size itself. but i liked anyway.
